The Inseec U. SPORT students from the Chambéry campus keep repeating it: their meeting with Houssem Loussaief, lecturer in the Bachelor Sport program, was a real moment of pleasure. During the sports and media course, the RMC Sport journalist shared his experience and distilled several tips necessary to the good knowledge of his job. A real plus on campus.

Speaker at the Bachelor Sport : an exemplary career

The course is brilliant, serious, built step by step:

“I am a child of the ZEP. I started my studies at the Robert Doisneau high school in Corbeil-Essonnes (91) with a Baccalauréat Technologique with a major in communication, and then I went on to obtain a degree in History with a geopolitical option. This Bac+3 was a real revelation for me (taste for research, transcription, exchanges, general culture). After that, I went to the European Institute of Journalism for a Bachelor’s degree in plurimedia journalism. I met a lot of people throughout my schooling with teachers who, each in their own way, brought me a lot.

Testimony of a return of experience

Now it’s time for professional life.

The business card is also worth a visit.

“Today I am a reporter-editor at RMC Sport. I have multiple tasks between radio, TV and news research.”

Houssem’s face is not unknown to the general public and therefore to our students who are delighted to find him regularly behind their small screen…

The adage is well known. When we have received… we also like to give back. This is how Houssem has been teaching since this year on the Chambéry campus to third year Sport students.

“Transmission is necessary and useful. It is important to share what I have been taught, what I have seen, what I have experienced. Inseec U. is positioned in this line of transmission through experience. Nothing is more concrete than experience. Life is about sharing and education is its best representation. I felt that the school’s goal was to offer its students the widest range of opportunities to be immediately competitive in today’s job market.”

Valuable advice from the expert

The tip I stress the most is definitely assertiveness. In the world of the media as well as in the world of entrepreneurship, for example, you have to know how to assert yourself and develop your personality. And then, more than an advice, I strongly advise them, and the term is not powerful enough, to develop their network. In the society that has been taking shape over the past few years, networking is becoming paramount, and the first network is often on the next table…”
